Your steps to designing kits like a pro

At Spark Design Academy, we believe learners deserve access to the same expertise that drives the professional sportswear industry. That’s why our flagship course is led by Craig Buglass and Rob Warner — creative directors with more than 40 years’ combined experience at Nike, Puma, and Umbro, and a World Cup-winning shirt each to their name.

Employability Pathways

Our courses don’t just teach design — they open doors. Learners leave with accredited qualifications, practical portfolio pieces, and a clear understanding of how creativity connects to real careers. Whether they move into sport, fashion, design, or completely different industries, Spark gives them an employability edge that schools can be proud to showcase.

Transferable Skills

Every Spark course is built around the skills employers value most. Learners practise problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and presenting ideas in ways that mirror professional settings. These transferable skills stay with them long after the course ends — giving them confidence in interviews, further study, and the workplace.

Positive Mindset

Confidence is one of the most powerful outcomes we see in our learners. By developing ideas, overcoming challenges, and presenting their work, students grow in self-belief and resilience. It’s this confidence — to think differently, to communicate clearly, and to take their next step — that makes the biggest difference both inside and outside the classroom.
